Variation Of The Compromise Lapghan

Okay this is the 'smoother compromise'. No front or back posts. 8~)) The finished ghan in the picture above was made using 4 ozs each of 6 different colors.


MATERIALS:
24 ozs, 4 ply worsted weight yarn
Size H crochet hook

FINISHED SIZE:
27" wide x 40" long

PATTERN NOTES: The lapghan above has Row 2 repeated in groups of 5 rows for each color.

DIRECTIONS:
Ch 137
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook and in the next 6 ch, *5 dc in next ch, dc in next 6 ch, skip next 2 ch, dc in next 6 ch*; repeat between * across row ending with dc in last 7 ch, ch 3, turn.
Row 2: Skip 2 dc, *dc in next 6 st, 5 dc in next st, dc in next 6 sts, skip next 4 dc*; repeat between * across row ending with dc in next 6 sts, skip 2 dc, dc in last st, ch 3, turn.

Repeat row 2, changing colors as desired, until it measures 40" or desired length.

FINISHING: The only thing needed for finishing is to make sure all loose ends are weaved in.
