NOTE: DO NOT count or use the ch-1 at beginning of each round as a stitch.

Rnd 1: Starting at the bottom with pink chain 4, sl st in first ch to form a ring, ch 1, 8 hdc in ring. Join with a sl st in the top of first hdc (8)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 hdc each st around, changing to blue in the last st made. join, fasten off pink (16)
Rnd 3: Ch 1, hdc in each st around, join.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, (2 hdc, in next st, hdc in next st) around changing to yellow in the last st made, join, fasten off blue.(24)
Rnd 5:Ch 1, (2 hdc in next st, hdc in each of next 2 sts) around, join (32).
Rnd 6 Repeat rnd 3, changing to green in last st, fasten off yellow.
Rnds 7-8: Repeat rnd 3, change to white only in the last st of the last rnd. Fasten off green.
Rnd 9: Ch1, hdc in each st around, join.
Rnd 10: Working this rnd in back lps only, ch 1, hdc in each st around changing to pink in last st of last rnd. join, fasten off white.
Rnd 11: Ch 1, (hdc in each of the next 2 sts, hdc next 2 sts tog) around changing to blue in the last st. Join, fasten off pink (24)
Insert egg, narrow end first.
Rnd 12: Repeat rnd 3 changing to yellow in last st, fasten off blue.
Rnd 13: Repeat rnd 11 changing to green in last st, fasten off yellow. (18)
Rnd 14: Ch 1, (hdc in next st, hdc next 2 sts tog around, join. (12)
Rnd 15: Ch 1, (sc next 2 sts tog) around, join with a sl st (6)
Rnd 16: Ch 1, sc in first st (skip next stitch, sc in next st) 2 times, sc in last st (4)
Rnds 17-31: For Handle, repeat rnd 3. Leave 5" for sewing, fasten off at the end of last row.
