FACE: With flesh color ch 3 , join to form ring.
Rnd 1 : ch 3 (counts as first dc) , 5 dc in ring, drop yarn,
with white work 6 dc in ring (Beard) ; join,
finish off flesh color: 12 dc
Rnd 2: ch 1 , sc in joining st, 2 sc in next 5 dc, (ch 1, sc in next dc)
6 times, ch 1 ; join, ch 4, turn.
BEARD : Sc in first ch-1 sp, (ch 3, sc in next ch-1 sp) 6 times; join,
finish off: 7 loops.
HAT : join red in third sc above beard.
ROW 1 : Ch 3, dc in next 6 sc; ch 3, turn: 7 dc.
ROW 2 : Holding last loop of each dc on hook, dc in each dc across,
YO and pull through all loops, ch 1 and tighten:
finish off. Attach pom-pom to top of hat.
